Biyografi
Associate professor of International Affairs at Qatar University (Doha, Qatar). Earned a Ph.D. in history from Texas Tech University in the Utined States. He has a wide range of academic interests, including: political philosopy, political ethics, philosophy of religion, geopolics and strategic studies. He published extensively in Arabic and English on these topics. Published several books among which: The Constitutional Crisis of Islamic Civilization. o The Crusades' Impact on Sunni-Shi'a Relations; The Best Muslim Minds in the Twentieth Century; Wounds of the Soul [a poetry collection]. Most of his works have been translated into Turkish languge, and some of them were also tranalted into English, French, Malay, Urdu, Persian, Kurdish, Pashto, Bosnian, Albanian and Tamil. A regular contribution at Al-Jazeera TV channel, where he comments frequently on the Middle East politics and global affairs. He also contributes with to Aj-Jazeera website for two decades.

Katar Üniversitesi'nde Uluslararası İlişkiler alanında doçent olarak görev yapmaktadır. Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ndeki Texas Tech Üniversitesi'nden tarih alanında doktora derecesi almıştır. Siyaset felsefesi, siyasi etik, din felsefesi, jeopolitik ve stratejik çalışmalar da dahil olmak üzere geniş bir akademik ilgi alanına sahiptir. Bu konularda Arapça ve İngilizce olarak kapsamlı yayınlar yapmıştır. El-Cezire TV kanalında düzenli olarak Ortadoğu siyaseti ve küresel meseleler hakkında konuşmalar yapmaktadır. Ayrıca yirmi yıldır Aj-Jazeera web sitesine katkıda bulunmaktadır.
